Steve Clayton is the Vice President of Communications Strategy at Microsoft. With over 25 years of experience at Microsoft, Steve has worked closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to shape communication around major acquisitions, CEO change, Public Affairs, and company culture. In his current role, Steve leads the newly formed Microsoft Communications Strategy Team, focusing on reinventing how Microsoft operates their communications business using AI. Prior to this role, Steve led Global Public Affairs for Microsoft and was the company’s Chief Storyteller.

Steve will take us on the journey of the last 6 months, what we’re sharing with customers and how his team is using this approach as “customer zero” to generate internal momentum for building a Communications Copilot for Microsoft – that we can also sell to customers.
