About

Sabine leads the Microsoft Security User Experience organization, comprised of Product Design, UX Research, Content Design, and Design Ops professionals, responsible for creating fully aligned experiences that address user needs at every stage of the customer lifecycle, spanning the full portfolio of Microsoft Security products. Under Sabine’s leadership, the Microsoft Security User Experience organization’s mission is to design experiences that are trusted, human-centered, and easy to use, enabling our users to manage, protect, and secure their digital environments with peace of mind. Prior to joining Microsoft in January of 2022, Sabine served as Chief Design Officer/Distinguished Designer at IBM, leading Digital Consultancy across UX, Visual Design, Motion Design, and Content Design. Before IBM, Roehl served as Senior VP at Publicis, and spent 15+ years in UX leadership roles working for prestigious creative agencies in New York City. Sabine earned a master's degree in communication design from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
